The season of Lent is when the Church journeys through the suffering and death of Christ. Traditionally, Lent is a season of confession, self-denial, and outward giving in order to further open ourselves to the work of the Spirit. This is often a natural time to adopt new practices of prayer; abstain from habits that do not serve ourselves and God well; and give away more of our lives to God's kingdom work. We would encourage everyone to consider what God is inviting you or your house church into during Lent. So to help we've put together a class on the season of Lent, some questions to discern as it approaches, and some suggested spiritual practices to engage.
